Hello World,

I’m Sheila Leilatu Chanase and I am a creative mind who writes about anything and everything. I think the world is too full of exciting experiences to limit myself to a particular subject or genre . I really just started out blogging but my passion to observe and write about the world dated back years ago. Anytime I pick a pen, the adrenaline flow is exciting. I am a bit bias when I write about women because it is who I am (a woman). I am a Ghanaian and an African and I believe we need to tell our story (who better to tell your story than you). We are all like purses; you never know what is in there till you open it so interact with me and get to know who I am. My culture is a beautiful one and I want to put it out there. You can follow me on twitter @sheilacious1. My Email is leilatu@gmail.com. I am also on Facebook and LinkedIn

  1. You have a beautiful blog with some really interesting and insightful posts, I’m so glad I came across you today by reading a comment you made on a Freshly Pressed post. As a new blogger you should be very proud of how professional and experienced your blog already seems. I hope you get many followers reading your wonderful stories about what life is like in Ghana!

  2. Hi Sheila. Thanks for stopping by my blog, allowing me to find yours! I love your sentence above, “We are all like purses; you never know what is in there till you open it so interact with me and get to know who I am.” That’s one of the great joys of blogging. I’m new to this adventure as well, and I look forward to getting to know more about you!

    • Thank you for visiting.I am all about learning and am sure we would both learn a thing or two from each other especially coming from different cultures. Cheers!

  3. I like your blog Sheila! Especially your poetry! Feel like we are on similar “journeys” somehow. All the best and look forward to reading more

    • Thank you Lara for stopping by my blog, I write about a lot of things but I have a soft spot for poetry. It could be that our ”journeys” are similar because of our experiences. I hope to share more with you and other bloggers. Cheers!

  4. Thank you so much for the like on my Blog 🙂 It is much appreciated.
I agree with you that it is important to talk about our bcakground,m culture and history. I am extremely proud of where I am from and believe there are many stories to be told. Good luck with your writing – I certainly look forward to reading more.

  5. I didn’t want to comment via the pool again so I thought here was as good as place as any. 😉
I really like the changes you made. The header looks absolutely amazing now! And the decision to make the background pink goes wonderfully with the palette of the new header!
I also see that you added new menus at the top which, definitely makes your blog easier to navigate. I would, however, suggest that you add one more. I noticed that some of your posts don’t fall under any of your current options. The name you choose is obviously up to you but, for example, mine fall under “Musings”. Just another thought I had for you.
Again, great job on the edits! And if you ever need me, you know where to find me. 😉

  6. Thank you so much. am new at this therefore will take my time and get it right. as time goes on, you will notice more changes. Thanks once again for the feedback.

    • Thank you so much for making the time to read. Its good to know you like it and I think by your statement I am achieving the purpose for the blog, which is to give my perspective on things and a piece of me too.

  7. I didn’t actually know you had a blog until today, I have read through though and will find more time to do more but i must say i like what I’ve seen so far and kudos. Keep it up

I'd love to hear from you, leave a comment here
